The tension between the Atlético Acreano and the SERRANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Atlético Acreano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Agnaldo Perez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valdomiro Esteves. Atlético Acreano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute, Kauã Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vincent McGorrie made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kauã Tande sent off a good shot on target. Dragoş Ecobescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Vincent McGorrie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Ecobescu in the 27th minute of play forced SERRANO's goalkeeper Vincent McGorrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Rafinha Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by SERRANO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Márcio Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Acreano's players had a chance to rest. Mané Bezerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Dragoş Ecobescu sped through SERRANO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vincent McGorrie. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dragoş Ecobescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vincent McGorrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Kauã Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Acreano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dragoş Ecobescu in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent McGorrie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SERRANO's Vincent McGorrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Moraes in the 66th minute of play. Olavo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent McGorrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Ecobescu in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doriva de Andrade during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, SERRANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. SERRANO's Vincent McGorrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Ecobescu in the 73rd minute of play. Vincent McGorrie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dragoş Ecobescu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent McGorrie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Kauã Tande notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of SERRANO's Vincent McGorrie. Vincent McGorrie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vincent McGorrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Tande in the 87th minute of play forced SERRANO's goalkeeper Vincent McGorrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SERRANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent McGorrie should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Atlético Acreano were the better team. Atlético Acreano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
