In the 32nd minute, Edmundo Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléber Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ronaldo Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Edvaldo Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taciua. Luís Fabiano Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Taciua's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Mesquita came free, but Cléber Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Storm FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Taciua's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Pedro Paulista took the corner. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Mesquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taciua's Cléber Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Taciua from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Taciua getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tiago Cunha hit a great ball. Black Storm FC's João Pedro Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléber Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Mesquita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 77 minute of play. Taciua's Cléber Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Taciua from getting a goal against them. The Taciua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Miranda should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Black Storm FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taciua.
