Meriti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Gabrielli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Leopoldo Figueiredo scored 0-3 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dé Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Artur Hoffmann notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Meriti FC's Dé Neves. Dé Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dé Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Meriti FC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Porto. 30 minutes into the match, Lucas Gabrielli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Neves. Meriti FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Gabrielli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Meriti FC's Dé Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Figueiredo in the 40th minute of play forced Meriti FC's goalkeeper Dé Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Porto was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dé Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Lourenco in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Meriti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Figueiredo came free, but Dé Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Walt Disney were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Figueiredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Meriti FC defense, Leopoldo Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dé Neves. The Meriti FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Neves should have stopped the shot. Meriti FC's Dé Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Figueiredo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Leopoldo Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meriti FC's Dé Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luizão Lourenco succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Tiago Gabriel Donato hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leopoldo Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Dé Neves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leopoldo Figueiredo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dé Neves firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 74th minute, Jerald Iverson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Walt Disney fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. After 78 minutes of play, Walt Disney's Leopoldo Figueiredo made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Meriti FC's Dé Neves got control of the ball when Lucas Gabrielli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Lucas Gabrielli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dé Neves. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 86th minute Leopoldo Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dé Neves. That made the score 0-12 in the 91 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Leopoldo Figueiredo put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Dé Neves.
