Spectators: 7831 (Terracing: 5874, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilberto Torres took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Luiz Marquez rounded Gatinhos Comunistas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Nando Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Torres in the 8th minute of play. Genílson Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Marquez in the 20th minute of play. Luiz Marquez had several of the Gatinhos Comunistas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Genílson Vinhas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luiz Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gatinhos Comunistas's Agnaldo Terra got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Nilson Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Marquez in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Independente FC's Luiz Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Genílson Vinhas came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Nilson Duarte. But to his dismay, Nilson Duarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nilson Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Vinhas having to interfere. Nilson Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Genílson Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Marquez in the 52nd minute of play forced Gatinhos Comunistas's goalkeeper Genílson Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Marquez in the 57th minute of play. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Luiz Marquez sped through Gatinhos Comunistas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genílson Vinhas. When Independente FC's Luiz Marquez in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gatinhos Comunistas's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Marquez succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. Nilson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Vinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Joaquim Eanes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genílson Vinhas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Independente FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Independente FC's Luiz Marquez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Luiz Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Vinhas was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Luiz Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Independente FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Raí Prestes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Marquez in the 84th minute of play forced Gatinhos Comunistas's goalkeeper Genílson Vinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Luiz Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dário Moreira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Independente FC's Luiz Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genílson Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. The long shot by Gilberto Ramos in the 89th minute really tested Nando Sena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 91 minutes, Luiz Marquez made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gatinhos Comunistas's Genílson Vinhas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Marquez in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
