Flores da Cunha - RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Figueiredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 8 played minutes Walt Disney got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Couto. After 10 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Boruc Matela. Baron Van de Goor came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Flores da Cunha - RS's Nicola Frei. But to his dismay, Nicola Frei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Aguero in the 22nd minute of play forced Walt Disney's goalkeeper Baron Van de Goor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Walt Disney getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Couto hit a great ball. Leopoldo Figueiredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Mendes could save by the left post. Baron Van de Goor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel Aguero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flores da Cunha - RS's Ismael Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Lourenco in the 39th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fabiano Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Walt Disney's Luís Fabiano Couto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Valério Gomes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Radamel Aguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicola Frei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baron Van de Goor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel Aguero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artur Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ismael Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walt Disney. Nicola Frei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Baron Van de Goor made a huge save. Walt Disney's Baron Van de Goor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Walt Disney from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Castro. Luís Fabiano Couto hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Vítor Melo put in a rough tackle. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flores da Cunha - RS! After a long run with the ball, Leopoldo Figueiredo did a trick in the 73rd minute in front of Flores da Cunha - RS's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-2. An impressive performance by Walt Disney's Leopoldo Figueiredo! If Radamel Aguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baron Van de Goor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel Aguero in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Radamel Aguero made a precise shot to the right of Baron Van de Goor. Walt Disney's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Ismael Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Souza. The Flores da Cunha - RS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
