The supporters of Joinville City booed when SANTOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Erseven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Asım Erseven. After a very even first half the match was still tied. SANTOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Swiderski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Joinville City got a freekick which was hit by Raí da Cunha. Durvalino Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo da Silveira in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute, SANTOS F.C's Gonçalo da Silveira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Durvalino Vergílio. Durvalino Vergílio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 庄迪翔 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí da Cunha in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Joinville City got a corner. SANTOS F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Baiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joinville City's Pedro Baiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 庄迪翔 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 94th minute of the match, Adan Urtsua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Durvalino Vergílio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Joinville City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SANTOS F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
