A collision led to Carlo Carra getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kaan Sayfi hit a great ball. Akay Salur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Independente FC got a corner. Carlo Carra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hudson Toscano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hudson Toscano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Akay Salur quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 34 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Senon Abravanel. Luiz Marquez succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Raí Prestes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Nando Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Lamberto in the 50th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Luiz Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akay Salur was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Raí Prestes could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Akay Salur however easily saved by the left post. Raí Prestes came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Akay Salur could save by the left post. Independente FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
