In the 40th match minute, Monster Billy EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Braga to maneuver through the defense. When Wanderson Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Volta Redonda F. Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Rosa couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Gaxan made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Wanderson Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volta Redonda F. A hard shot 92 in the game by Wanderson Rosa from a close distance when the talented Andrézinho Miranda managed to make a qualified save. Monster Billy EC's players were relieved. Andrézinho Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Rosa in the 97th minute of play. The Monster Billy EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Volta Redonda F. Clube's performance.
