Cido da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Monster Billy EC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Monster Billy EC's corner Giuseppe Falcão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arí Pinho quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Luiz Guilherme Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. 13 DE MAIO MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Guilherme Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Monster Billy EC's Donato Urko got a free kick in the 30th minute. Arí Pinho came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Monster Billy EC's Aquilino Gaxan. But to his dismay, Aquilino Gaxan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Guilherme Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Guilherme Moreira took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrézinho Miranda. Andrézinho Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. André Luiz Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Andrézinho Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
