After 2 played minutes 13 DE MAIO MZC got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Vergílio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deivid Alcântara in the 6th minute of play forced Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Sílvio Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 13 DE MAIO MZC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Narciso Ferraz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, 13 DE MAIO MZC's André Luiz Trancoso got a free kick in the 18th minute. Inácio Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sílvio Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Ferraz in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Narciso Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sílvio Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Ferraz scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Luiz Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, André Luiz Trancoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 53rd minute André Luiz Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Volta Redonda F. Clube's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Trancoso came free, but Sílvio Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sílvio Simões made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Deivid Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Ferraz came free, but Sílvio Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, 13 DE MAIO MZC's Narciso Ferraz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Sílvio Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Moreira in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Moreno in the 88th minute of play forced Volta Redonda F. Clube's goalkeeper Sílvio Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Narciso Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Luiz Trancoso scored 0-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sílvio Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Ferraz in the 95th minute of the match. 13 DE MAIO MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
