After 33 minutes, Remo Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volta Redonda F. Clube and the Alice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remo Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Volta Redonda F. Clube's Sílvio Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Lima in the 37th minute of play. Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
