The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Clube do Remo booed when Leão STAND BY FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cícero Leite's late challenge caught a Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero Leite helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Clube do Remo getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cícero Leite hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Arthur Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Clube do Remo got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Figueiredo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tião Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tião Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marij Jazbec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Magalhães hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Marij Jazbec made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Tiago Arósio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marij Jazbec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube do Remo's supporters rose to their feet, but Marij Jazbec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Coutinho hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Clube do Remo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
