Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 史挺南 to make the kick off. Silvério Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leclerc having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Pirani got free with Carlos Leclerc in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamilton Luis in the 78th minute of play. Silvério Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. GRÊMIO played a much better game than Jumeuc Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Jumeuc Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
