In the 2nd match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí Vidal to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Arapapa's Tostão Veiga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tostão Veiga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arapapa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tostão Veiga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tostão Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Paulo José Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo José Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Linhares in the 13th minute of the match. Téo Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arapapa's Reginaldo Teixeira got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Falcão Soeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo José Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jeremias Linhares hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Arapapa's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Paulo José Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hamilton Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão Soeiro in the 35th minute of play forced Arapapa's goalkeeper Paulo José Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Arapapa getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Carlos Eduardo Dias hit a great ball. If Francisco da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Jumeuc Futebol Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Téo Paes made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Tadeu Prestes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulo José Queiroz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Paulo José Queiroz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tadeu Prestes in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeu Prestes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo José Queiroz. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Paulo José Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Falcão Soeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo José Queiroz. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. Tadeu Prestes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo José Queiroz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeu Prestes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. Paulo José Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 76 played minutes Arapapa got a freekick which was hit by Téo Paes. In the 79th minute, Tadeu Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo José Queiroz. The goal made the score 0-5. Téo Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Carlos Leclerc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kiko Leite hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Tadeu Prestes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo José Queiroz, 0-6. Paulo José Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Francisco da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Reginaldo Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Leclerc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapapa. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
