Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emerson Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Pedro Guilherme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Branco in the 9th minute of play. Odoy Pradhana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arthur Soeiro in the 10th minute. Vivaldo Valle took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Moreira. Juvenal Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Clube do Remo's Cícero Leite got a free kick in the 16th minute. Osmar Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Branco came free, but Juvenal Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Valle in the 22nd minute of play forced Clube do Remo's goalkeeper Juvenal Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Valle to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Figueiredo in the 32nd minute of play forced Internacional's goalkeeper Odoy Pradhana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Leite hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Juvenal Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osmar Branco's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Odoy Pradhana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Figueiredo in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osmar Branco to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Emerson Figueiredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odoy Pradhana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Odoy Pradhana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the match Clube do Remo got a corner. Internacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cláudio Lucas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Clube do Remo's Cláudio Lucas to fire away a dangerous shot which Odoy Pradhana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute Elvis Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Odoy Pradhana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Conrado Barto fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Internacional's protests and gave Conrado Barto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Barto to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osmar Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dorian Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clube do Remo's Juvenal Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Branco in the 81st minute of play. Vivaldo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Internacional players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
