GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Branco in the 27th minute of play. Odoy Pradhana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of the match. Internacional's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Aníbal Moura got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Odoy Pradhana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osmar Branco in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, GRÊMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Donatello to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Vivaldo Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Goicoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
