Valdemar Dracena hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The supporters of Escurial FC booed when Cosmópolis Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Victor Abascal made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Escurial FC's zone, Matias Zanette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Öztürk Peşrev came out of the goal and Matias Zanette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dieguinho Meireles scored 0-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Luican, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Cosmópolis Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Iuri de Souza hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Amadeu Donatello tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eric Luican saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A well done corner resulted in Geraldo Vander drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Cosmópolis Futebol Clube's goalkeeper. In the 63rd minute, Toninho Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Fache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Öztürk Peşrev. Escurial FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
