In the 47th minute, Zézinho Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 谢枫海 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Cosme to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th minute Sercan Tümerdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 谢枫海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Baumar came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 谢枫海 could save by the left post. After 86 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Britto. In the 90th minute Zézinho Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 谢枫海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Blue Mountain State fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vascão-ES were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
