A well-hit corner resulted in Herbert Lindholm heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Marcel Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Öztürk Peşrev was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Herbert Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Öztürk Peşrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Öztürk Peşrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Abraão in the 21st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Escurial FC's Enrique Freire threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Andrade, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Marcel Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Abraão in the 31st minute of play forced Escurial FC's goalkeeper Öztürk Peşrev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Öztürk Peşrev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Lindholm in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Escurial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Abraão came free, but Öztürk Peşrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Öztürk Peşrev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcel Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Victor Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Escurial FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Futebol Dos Parça were winning 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Escurial FC's Fábio de Amorim got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Victor Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Freire. Futebol Dos Parça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Escurial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrianinho Eger was slow to take the kick. During this time Futebol Dos Parça's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Futebol Dos Parça's Luizão Maia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Herbert Lindholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Öztürk Peşrev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Elvio Mergildo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escurial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Dos Parça the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Escurial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Abraão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Öztürk Peşrev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 98th play minutes Marcel Abraão shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Öztürk Peşrev and just under the crossbar into goal. Futebol Dos Parça played a much better game than Escurial FC and deserved their victory. The Escurial FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
