The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Mergildo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Escurial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Andrade went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Club Del Gallo's zone, Victor Abascal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Vidal came out of the goal and Victor Abascal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Club Del Gallo's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Andrade came free, but Ramón Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Geraldo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escurial FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Escurial FC booed when Club Del Gallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Abascal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Vidal. Ramón Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ramón Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Abascal's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Amadeu Donatello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramón Vidal. Club Del Gallo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, Escurial FC's Victor Abascal made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Escurial FC made a substitution. Dieguinho Meireles replaced Leonardo Andrade. After a rather tough play, Escurial FC's Geraldo Vander got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 71st minute, Victor Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieguinho Meireles struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ramón Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escurial FC. In the 90th minute of the match, Dieguinho Meireles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramón Vidal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the match, Escurial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Coutinho came free, but Öztürk Peşrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Escurial FC's İskender Baki Vacip got a free kick in the 95th minute. Túlio Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Öztürk Peşrev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Túlio Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 98th minute, Amadeu Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Paulo Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Öztürk Peşrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
