Blue Mountain State's 谢枫海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Coutinho in the 17th minute of play. Club Del Gallo's Ramón Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Britto in the 19th minute of play. Blue Mountain State's 谢枫海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Freitas in the 20th minute of play. 谢枫海 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Freitas in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Del Gallo's Zé Paulo Torres got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Blue Mountain State's Aníbal Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Coutinho in the 28th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper 谢枫海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 谢枫海 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Délio Freitas went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Hermínio Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 谢枫海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramón Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Britto in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Ulisses Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Torres in the 41st minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper 谢枫海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Vidal having to interfere. Nando Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Torres in the 46th minute of play forced Blue Mountain State's goalkeeper 谢枫海 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Délio Freitas to make the kick off. Ulisses Britto scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramón Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Cosme in the 60th minute of play forced Club Del Gallo's goalkeeper Ramón Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Del Gallo's Nando Corrêa got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Blue Mountain State's Hermínio Cosme in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ramón Vidal guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to Club Del Gallo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Túlio Coutinho hit a great ball. Ramón Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes Club Del Gallo got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Pinheiro. Ramón Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulisses Britto went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ramón Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Britto in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Club Del Gallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Vidal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Mello went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute, Lauro Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Hermínio Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Blue Mountain State fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Cosme couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Vidal having to interfere. Blue Mountain State were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Del Gallo for a fine match.
