The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Escurial FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juventus Turim- DMZ:s goal. Alfredinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Trigo in the 9th minute of play. Alfredinho da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Vander in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomás Trigo got free with Alfredinho da Costa in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Abascal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredinho da Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Abascal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Fábio de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alfredinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Trigo in the 20th minute of the match. Alfredinho da Costa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Victor Abascal sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Abascal in the 25th minute of play forced Juventus Turim- DMZ's goalkeeper Alfredinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Juventus Turim- DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Zonta to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match, Fábio de Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredinho da Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Juventus Turim- DMZ's Alfredinho da Costa got control of the ball when Fábio de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juventus Turim- DMZ's Alfredinho da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Turim- DMZ from getting a goal against them. Joélson Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Escurial FC made a substitution. Laerte Meira replaced Thomás Trigo. Rodolfo Gøth hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alfredinho da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Abascal went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Abascal was the one to do the kick off. The nice shot from Pedrinho Nóbrega in the 55thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Öztürk Peşrev had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 56 played minutes Juventus Turim- DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Nóbrega. The Escurial FC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Escurial FC's Victor Abascal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 68 minutes into the game, Escurial FC's Dieguinho Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredinho da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Dieguinho Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alfredinho da Costa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Escurial FC's Laerte Meira. But to his dismay, Laerte Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Laerte Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho da Costa having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Laerte Meira made a precise shot to the right of Alfredinho da Costa. Juventus Turim- DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 91 minutes into the match, Escurial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Nóbrega came free, but Öztürk Peşrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Abascal took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho da Costa. Alfredinho da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. A collision led to Juventus Turim- DMZ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Glauco Zonta hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Victor Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredinho da Costa. Juventus Turim- DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Escurial FC had played much better football throughout.
