Wanderson de Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wanderson de Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustão de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that Edgar Appel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Faustão de Carvalho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alexandre Couto was a little too slow when Wanderson de Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-1. Alexandre Couto made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Niceto Martxel sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doni Maranhense during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doni Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Luís Guilherme Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Beneficiente's Alexandre Couto got control of the ball when Wanderson de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beneficiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Wanderson de Toledo scored to the left of an out of position Alexandre Couto, making the score, 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FRIENDS CITY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho got control of the ball when Luís Guilherme Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandre Couto came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo. But to his dismay, Wanderson de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Mebarek El-Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes FRIENDS CITY got a freekick which was hit by Doni Maranhense. Luís Guilherme Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Faustão de Carvalho made a huge save. Luís Guilherme Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustão de Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Guilherme Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Couto came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo. But to his dismay, Wanderson de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. 93 minutes into the match, FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beneficiente players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FRIENDS CITY.
