In the 14thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Assembleia - FSCMZ's Osvaldinho da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Assembleia - FSCMZ's Osvaldinho da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Aguiar in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Laércio Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Assembleia - FSCMZ's Alf Ödmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandre Couto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luís Guilherme Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osvaldinho da Silveira was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Osvaldinho da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Beneficiente's Luís Guilherme Cunha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldinho da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Assembleia - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldinho da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Fontes in the 48th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Alexandre Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alf Ödmann to make the kick off. If Laércio Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Beneficiente getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Motta Grazi hit a great ball. Michel Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Ödmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Luís Guilherme Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beneficiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Guilherme Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldinho da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldinho da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldinho da Silveira could save by the left post. After 90 minutes Assembleia - FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Appel who took care of the corner kick. In the 90th minute, Laércio Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edgar Appel came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Beneficiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Appel couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Assembleia - FSCMZ were victorious despite being under pressure from Beneficiente for much of the match.
