Clube União Popular's Rodrigo Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaltino Toledo in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romário Lima in the 24th minute of play forced Clube União Popular's goalkeeper Rodrigo Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hassan Mignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Sergipano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clube União Popular's Hassan Mignon got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Serafin Hori came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Kabelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Hori couldn't finish the play. Eliézer Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Mignon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes Kabelo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yngve Kristiansson who took care of the corner kick. Rodrigo Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Toledo in the 36th minute of the match. Jerônimo Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 played minutes Kabelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Proença. Agnaldo Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rodrigo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaltino Toledo in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hassan Mignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Clube União Popular fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kabelo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
