Spectators: 7489 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 60) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Guilherme Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Luís Guilherme Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazinho Gaúcho saved Cascavel from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Cascavel's Adam Encuțescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lara Peñaranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mazinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Paraibano got free with Lara Peñaranda in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Encuțescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Lara Peñaranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Yuri Paraibano hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motta Grazi to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Luiz das Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Sidney Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of Mazinho Gaúcho. Cascavel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Milan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cascavel's Filip Milan got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Anselmo Paraibano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda. Lara Peñaranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, 巩沙谦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Encuțescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Encuțescu in the 51st minute of play. Filip Milan got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 55th minute, Filip Milan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 58th minute of play. Luís Guilherme Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney Carneiro took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mazinho Gaúcho. Mazinho Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Placido Egli came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Cascavel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Egli couldn't finish the play. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Egli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Beneficiente getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Laércio Aguiar hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beneficiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Cascavel defense, Sidney Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mazinho Gaúcho. The Cascavel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mazinho Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. Although Cascavel had been in control for most of the match, Beneficiente still came away with the win.
