Universidade Celestial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvinho Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Parnagua AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Baiano to maneuver through the defense. Universidade Celestial FC's Gaston Sessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Frances in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Universidade Celestial FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 杨延迪 was slow to take the kick. During this time Parnagua AD's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maicon de Lima got free with Gaston Sessa in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by 杨延迪 from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Gaston Sessa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Silvinho Custódio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gaston Sessa made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Maicon de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Eugênio Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Universidade Celestial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parnagua AD the free kick. After 83 minutes of play, Parnagua AD's Donato Frances made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Sessa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaston Sessa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Saldanha went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rogério Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parnagua AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Sessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Parnagua AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
