The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rui Marques came free, but Jacinto de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 傅亮义 in the 6th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Cícero de Castro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 11th minute, Simão Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Augusto das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Milanis E.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto das Neves couldn't finish the play. Fábio I took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Júlio Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milanis E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅亮义 in the 22nd minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoes F.C.'s Fábio I proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dragoes F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ronaldão Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fábio I made a huge save. Jacinto de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragoes F.C.'s Cícero de Castro. But to his dismay, Cícero de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jacinto de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 傅亮义 went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Júlio Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fábio I. Dragoes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. José Pedro Paes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero de Castro in the 42nd minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Cícero de Castro made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

In the 55thth minute of the game 傅亮义 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when 傅亮义 sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Dragoes F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. 傅亮义 hit a great ball. Rui Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Jacinto de Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacinto de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Marques in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Ronaldão Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio I saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Cícero de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragoes F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cícero de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dragoes F.C.'s Fábio I played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Mazza in the 68th minute of play. Jacinto de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Torres in the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Rui Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Fabiano de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 傅亮义 went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 傅亮义's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacinto de Azevedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dragoes F.C. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Milanis E.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Paranaense took the corner. After taking down the ball on Dragoes F.C.'s corner Álvaro Paranaense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, 傅亮义 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacinto de Azevedo, 1-5. In the 90th minute, Dragoes F.C.'s 傅亮义 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto de Azevedo. Jacinto de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Rui Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto de Azevedo having to make a save. With a little luck, Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo got control of the ball when 傅亮义 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragoes F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
