After 31 minutes of play, Universidade Celestial FC's Baltazar Alagoano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gaston Sessa made a huge save. Jonathan Madureira came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaston Sessa could save by the left post. In the 40th minute, Ricardinho Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Madureira scored 3-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Sessa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Leão da Estradinha FC's Gilson Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Leão da Estradinha FC from getting a goal against them. Gaston Sessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Madureira in the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Universidade Celestial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Madureira came free, but Gaston Sessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Leão da Estradinha FC booed when Universidade Celestial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position.
