A nice corner shot did that Junior Alonso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilson Leal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Complexo do PJ's Vladimir Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Xavier in the 20th minute of play. Gilson Leal made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Txeru Anieva sent off a good shot on target. Leão da Estradinha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonathan Madureira in the 24th minute. Gilson Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilson Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio Fernandez in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Complexo do PJ's Txeru Anieva made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilson Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 48 minutes into the match, Complexo do PJ's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Madureira came free, but Vladimir Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th match minute, Complexo do PJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Maia to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Complexo do PJ's zone, Ricardinho Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Meira came out of the goal and Ricardinho Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betão Pimenta's late challenge caught a Leão da Estradinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Betão Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Complexo do PJ's Vladimir Meira got control of the ball when Jonathan Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leão da Estradinha FC were furious when Jânio Schmidt was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jânio Schmidt hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Eugênio Fernandez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Leão da Estradinha FC's Gilson Leal. Gilson Leal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 played minutes Complexo do PJ got a freekick which was hit by Txeru Anieva. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leão da Estradinha FC reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Eugênio Fernandez notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Leão da Estradinha FC's Gilson Leal.
