Jaroslaw Niezgoda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Gilson Leal made a huge save. Leão da Estradinha FC's Gilson Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Leão da Estradinha FC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Compostela FSCMZ's Gilson Leal threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chicão Cerezo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 22 played minutes Robert Kornatowski rounded Leão da Estradinha FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. In the 26th minute, Jaroslaw Niezgoda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Gilson Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Kornatowski in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Mauro Paulista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compostela FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leão da Estradinha FC the free kick. When Jaroslaw Niezgoda fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compostela FSCMZ's protests and gave Jaroslaw Niezgoda a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Compostela FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
