Botinho FC's Flávio Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Botinho FC from getting a goal against them. Gilson Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Negri in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Botinho FC booed when Leão da Estradinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Bar Beiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gilson Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bar Beiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Leão da Estradinha FC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Eger. In the 19th minute of the match Túlio Salles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilson Leal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Paulo Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Botinho FC booed when Leão da Estradinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Ribeiro in the 31st minute of play forced Leão da Estradinha FC's goalkeeper Gilson Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leão da Estradinha FC booed when Botinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when João Paulo Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Botinho FC's Flávio Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Bittencourt in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Sandro Negri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilson Leal. Sandro Negri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The Botinho FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Botinho FC's Bar Beiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute, Sandro Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botinho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 71st match minute, Botinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Flávio Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Madureira in the 72nd minute of the match. Ricardo Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Flávio Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Loyola in the 80th minute of play. Gilson Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bar Beiro in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Leão da Estradinha FC's Gilson Leal got control of the ball when Bar Beiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Madureira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio Galvão saved Botinho FC from getting behind. After 90 minutes of play Botinho FC's Cássio Diniz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 91st minute, Cássio Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 minutes Botinho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Madureira who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jonathan Madureira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Botinho FC's Flávio Galvão did a great save. The Leão da Estradinha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Botinho FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
