Laluce Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 17th minute Jacinto Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The C.A Gryffindor fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kauan do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Mangueira in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Jacinto Quirino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kauan do Vale. Jacinto Quirino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Tomé de Alcântara hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Passos. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Luciano Catarinense made the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes Laluce Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomé de Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. 64 minutes into the game, Tomé de Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Kauan do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Armando Barrera fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A Gryffindor's protests and gave Armando Barrera a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Barrera hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Paredes Pedrera replaced Marquinhos Filho. In the 69th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Barrera to maneuver through the defense. If Guilherme Mazer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Laluce Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Mazer came free, but Kauan do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kauan do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Mazer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Guilherme Mazer might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kauan do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guilherme Mazer ran back to his position shaking his head. Kauan do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Mazer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match C.A Gryffindor got a corner. Laluce Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomé de Alcântara ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nikos Prattis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laluce Esporte Clube's Kauan do Vale did a great save. After a rather tough play, C.A Gryffindor's Karl-Erik Magnusson got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A Gryffindor had won after a very even match.
