The goal made the score 5-0. 21 minutes into the game, Godofredo Cebo lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Jânio de Castro. Jânio de Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Simões went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Cebo in the 30th minute of play forced GAROPABA EC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jânio de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Atlético São Sebastião's Godofredo Cebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Cebo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Roberto Simões cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Jânio de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Pedro Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Cebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio de Castro was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After 68 played minutes, Atlético São Sebastião's Celestino Arnalt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jânio de Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético São Sebastião reached it. After some careless play in the GAROPABA EC - FSCMZ defense, Roberto Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jânio de Castro. The GAROPABA EC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jânio de Castro should have stopped the shot. Godofredo Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético São Sebastião had played much better football throughout.
