Eusébio Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Falcão Dias went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Falcão Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when Ibis Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Farias in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Inter de Melão's Delfim Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Eusébio Gaúcho was a little too slow when Ernesto Farias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 4-0. Dino Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Valadares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Farias in the 38th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Eusébio Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Dorian Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Valadares came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibis Football Club's Jarbas Donato. But to his dismay, Jarbas Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Paraense was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Farias came free, but Eusébio Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Delfim Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 68th minute Fabinho Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Melão's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
