The referee ignored Jenny FC's protests and gave Zé Pedro Travassos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bucaneiros booed when Jenny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Kempes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Motta Van Bastén in the 5th minute of play forced Bucaneiros's goalkeeper Bartosz Skikiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Jenny FC's Vito Couto got control of the ball when Mario Kempes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jenny FC's Vito Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Mustafa Haydar Salik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vito Couto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute of the match, Luiz Guilherme Paraense got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vito Couto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Bucaneiros's goal looked a bit too open when Motta Van Bastén came free, but Bartosz Skikiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráuzio Cerezo made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jenny FC's Lúcio Urbano. In the 31st minute, Luiz Guilherme Paraense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bucaneiros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vito Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Kempes in the 37th minute. Bartosz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Orange in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes, Wasyl Arbaszewski made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Wasyl Arbaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jenny FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Arbaszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Quarto Sala charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quarto Sala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Quarto Sala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 52 played minutes, Jenny FC's Simon Theinert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bartosz Skikiewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jenny FC reached it. 53 minutes into the game, Mario Kempes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vito Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vito Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Salik in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Motta Van Bastén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartosz Skikiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 79th match minute, Jenny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Travassos to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Jenny FC's Wasyl Arbaszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartosz Skikiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
