The Associação Menta Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Ceresso should have stopped the shot. Evaristo Lira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Bernardinho Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Torino SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Aguiar couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Kent Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Associação Menta Clube's zone, Bernardinho Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Ceresso came out of the goal and Bernardinho Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. András Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Associação Menta Clube's Dino Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz da Costa in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Torino SSA were awarded a corner. Luan Lucas went to the cornerflag to take it. 20 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's Kent Anundsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Associação Menta Clube's Dino Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Aguiar in the 21st minute of play. Dino Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardinho Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Torino SSA's Bernardinho Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Torino SSA were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio Luiz da Costa to strike the kick off in the second half. Fellipe Luz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Ceresso. Dino Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With 60 minutes on the clock, Ricardo Moreira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Torino SSA booed when Associação Menta Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Torino SSA's Luan Lucas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kent Anundsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dino Ceresso, 0-6. Kent Anundsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dino Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torino SSA. In the 69th minute of the match, Kent Anundsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dino Ceresso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If András Balogh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Kent Anundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardinho Aguiar scored 0-7 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Ceresso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torino SSA's Rui Matos was substituted for Toninho da Fonseca. Dino Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Aguiar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Ceresso saved Associação Menta Clube from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Associação Menta Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Guerra came free, but Dino Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torino SSA made a substitution. Egídio de Almeida replaced Víktor Guerra. In the 90th minute, Cristóvão Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Anundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dino Ceresso made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Dino Ceresso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Associação Menta Clube's Dino Ceresso got control of the ball when Ricardo Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Egídio de Almeida scored 0-9 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Ceresso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torino SSA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
