Aírton Bueno made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Augusto Pontes sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Guadiana's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Gay came free, but Aírton Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes, Augusto Pontes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guadiana's Aírton Bueno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matheus Gay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Augusto Pontes sped through Guadiana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aírton Bueno. Aírton Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Pontes's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Matheus Gay got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 6-0 in the right cross in the 32nd match minute before Aírton Bueno had time to react. 35 minutes into the match, Santa Teresa's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Nogueira came free, but Natalio Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Sousa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Guadiana's Aírton Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Gay in the 43rd minute of play. Aírton Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Pontes in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenílson Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. Natalio Betadur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis Maia in the 52nd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Augusto Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guadiana's Aírton Bueno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Gay in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Bueno saved Guadiana from getting behind. Teodoro Martxot hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Augusto Pontes put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aírton Bueno. The audience was convinced that Fabiano Castelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aírton Bueno was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Santa Teresa's Batiste Aznar was substituted for Matheus Gay. In the 84th match minute, Guadiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense.
