The supporters of Brahmaskol Sport Club booed when Santa Teresa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Castelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Pasqual having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Maciel in the 14th minute of play forced Santa Teresa's goalkeeper Natalio Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltazar de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natalio Betadur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute D.J. Love shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brahmaskol Sport Club's Matias Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. Love in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brahmaskol Sport Club's Ismael Paulista got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The long shot by Fabiano Castelli in the 53rd minute really tested Matias Pasqual's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Augusto Pontes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Matias Pasqual when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When D.J. Love came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Santa Teresa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that D.J. Love couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Hjalmar Browald could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Matias Pasqual however easily saved by the left post. Natalio Betadur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar de Almeida in the 65th minute of play. Matias Pasqual made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Sousa in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brahmaskol Sport Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santa Teresa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
