The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Browald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói de Andrade was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Santa Teresa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jacinto Sousa hit a great ball. Carlos Manuel Lavandero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Natalio Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Santa Teresa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulo José Loyola fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Elói de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Gay in the 36th minute of play. If Augusto Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo José Loyola got free with Natalio Betadur in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Santa Teresa's Natalio Betadur got control of the ball when Paulo José Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodoro Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Santa Teresa's Natalio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Figueiredo in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elói de Andrade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Browald's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Natalio Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Loyola in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Betadur saved Santa Teresa from getting behind. The supporters of Santa Teresa booed when GLocos do Cerrado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Manuel Lavandero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GLocos do Cerrado FC's zone, Augusto Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói de Andrade came out of the goal and Augusto Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The GLocos do Cerrado FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when GLocos do Cerrado FC's Paulo José Loyola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santa Teresa's Natalio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Loyola in the 77th minute of play. Elói de Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Pontes in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Pontes got free with Elói de Andrade in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GLocos do Cerrado FC's Elói de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Browald in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. GLocos do Cerrado FC had played much better football throughout.
