In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morrinhos Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Nildo da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Betão Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nildo da Silveira was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. A collision led to Morrinhos Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Humberto Valle hit a great ball. SE Tijolo 6 Furos were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Morrinhos Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Rosado took the corner. Betão Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nildo da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Morrinhos Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Vargas came free, but Nildo da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Betão Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nildo da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Betão Vargas went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Betão Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SE Tijolo 6 Furos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Vargas couldn't finish the play. Betão Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo da Silveira having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 28th minute when Betão Vargas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Betão Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Vargas in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nildo da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulisses Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to SE Tijolo 6 Furos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Betão Vargas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Mauro Eguen got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Morrinhos Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SE Tijolo 6 Furos were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilton Melo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Betão Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Morrinhos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Antunes. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morrinhos Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Rafael Rosado to fire away a dangerous shot which Nildo da Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Betão Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Nildo da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Morrinhos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Nildo da Silveira came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Betão Vargas. But to his dismay, Betão Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Betão Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nildo da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betão Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. Betão Vargas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Nildo da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Betão Vargas took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo da Silveira. Nildo da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. SE Tijolo 6 Furos's Sandrinho Figueiredo was substituted for Rafael Rosado. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Betão Vargas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Betão Vargas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nildo da Silveira. That made the score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Figueiredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nildo da Silveira, 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Custódio in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nildo da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Nildo da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Morrinhos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The SE Tijolo 6 Furos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SE Tijolo 6 Furos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
