In the 14th minute of the match FIEL ALGUSTA got a corner. Cujuim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludomir Figlewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. FIEL ALGUSTA's Jürgen Ligier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Efrain Veremundo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Murillo Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Veremundo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. FIEL ALGUSTA's Paulo Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semail Çelikyay in the 18th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Murillo Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cujuim's Efrain Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on FIEL ALGUSTA's corner Ludomir Figlewski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Efrain Veremundo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Pernambucano in the 41st minute of play forced Cujuim's goalkeeper Efrain Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Endura to make the kick off. FIEL ALGUSTA's Paulo Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FIEL ALGUSTA from getting a goal against them. FIEL ALGUSTA were furious when Paulo José Correia was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to FIEL ALGUSTA getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paulo José Correia hit a great ball. Tiquinho Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiquinho Soares in the 72nd minute of play forced Cujuim's goalkeeper Efrain Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiquinho Soares in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürgen Ligier in the 79th minute of play forced Cujuim's goalkeeper Efrain Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cujuim booed when FIEL ALGUSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
