Nando Fernandes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseu Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, S.E.R Corujão's Franklin Toscano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alisson Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, S.E.R Corujão's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Guerra came free, but Nando Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natingui FC's attentive José Branco managed to snatch the ball when Fausto Paranaense made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Natingui FC's José Branco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nando Fernandes. Nando Fernandes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 27 minutes into the match, Eliseu Guerra notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of S.E.R Corujão's Nando Fernandes. Nando Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Natingui FC's goalkeeper Alisson Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Natingui FC's Eliseu Guerra made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Natingui FC defense, Vitório Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alisson Taffarel. The Natingui FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alisson Taffarel should have stopped the shot. Alisson Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseu Guerra to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Nando Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Guerra in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Eliseu Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Nando Fernandes. S.E.R Corujão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 61 minutes into the match, Eliseu Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando Fernandes. S.E.R Corujão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Natingui FC made a substitution. Natingui FC's Alisson Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Machado in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Natingui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Nando Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
