Clube Atlético Lençoense were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after GRAMADENSSE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tales Magno took the corner. In the 27th minute, Ricardo Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Cunha in the 32nd minute of play forced Clube Atlético Lençoense's goalkeeper Paulinho Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, GRAMADENSSE's Denílson Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulinho Breckenfeld made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 37th minute Denílson Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gláuber Cunha to make the kick off. Paulinho Breckenfeld was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Denílson Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Denílson Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 55th minute, GRAMADENSSE's Gláuber Cunha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulinho Breckenfeld. Paulinho Breckenfeld yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Valério Berger's late challenge caught a GRAMADENSSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Berger helped the player get up and apologised. Valério Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Dedê Campidelis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. GRAMADENSSE's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Gláuber Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Paulinho Breckenfeld to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as GRAMADENSSE's Dedê Campidelis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulinho Breckenfeld. That made the score 0-9 after 65 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Lençoense's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Senna came free, but Paulinho Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Clube Atlético Lençoense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho Breckenfeld should have stopped the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Gláuber Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulinho Breckenfeld, 0-13. GRAMADENSSE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
