Nilmar Miranda in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cléber de Queirós, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cléber de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Dionísio in the 7th minute of the match. When Rubinho Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Velez do Jockey FC's protests and gave Rubinho Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Eleven Souls booed when Velez do Jockey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paulão Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Eleven Souls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulão Dionísio couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Paulão Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Danilo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cléber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Paes in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Miranda in the 21st minute of play forced Velez do Jockey FC's goalkeeper Cléber de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Velez do Jockey FC from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Eleven Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Lima came free, but Przemyslaw Indyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Dionísio in the 29th minute of play. Cléber de Queirós made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nilmar Miranda sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulão Dionísio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Velez do Jockey FC's Ricardinho Dionísio got a free kick in the 54th minute. Paulão Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber de Queirós having to interfere. Cléber de Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulão Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Velez do Jockey FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Severo. Cléber de Queirós came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Souls's Paulão Dionísio. But to his dismay, Paulão Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Eleven Souls made a substitution. Nelsinho Hermes replaced Paulão Dionísio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Hermes in the 65th minute of play forced Velez do Jockey FC's goalkeeper Cléber de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cléber de Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erivaldo Loyola went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Nilmar Miranda scored 6-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cléber de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute, Nelsinho Hermes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eleven Souls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Valdomiro Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eleven Souls's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cléber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Cléber de Queirós came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Souls's Nelsinho Hermes. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0.
