Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cléber de Queirós didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Édouard Deloge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cléber de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaanek Oese, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cléber de Queirós came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by BOTAFOGO's Jaanek Oese. But to his dismay, Jaanek Oese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 11th minute, Kauan Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléber de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 14 played minutes BOTAFOGO got a freekick which was hit by Dário Britto. In the 16th minute of the match, Serafim Severo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonso Taraborrelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 17 played minutes BOTAFOGO got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Ramalho. In the 19th minute Toninho Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jaanek Oese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kauan Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Édouard Deloge managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOTAFOGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Édouard Deloge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléber de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toninho Madureira scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cléber de Queirós, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Madureira in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Velez do Jockey FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Rubinho Sampaio hit a great ball. Toninho Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jaanek Oese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Toninho Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléber de Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaanek Oese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Velez do Jockey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Severo to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cléber de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGO. After a defensive mix-up in Velez do Jockey FC's zone, Kauan Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber de Queirós came out of the goal and Kauan Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes of play, BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Madureira to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Danilo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the game, BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cléber de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 54 minutes of play, BOTAFOGO's Jaanek Oese made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléber de Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes BOTAFOGO got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Melo. Cléber de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Oese in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Édouard Deloge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cléber de Queirós. Édouard Deloge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When Velez do Jockey FC's Paulo Renato Gaspar in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOTAFOGO's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Velez do Jockey FC defense, Toninho Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber de Queirós. The Velez do Jockey FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber de Queirós should have stopped the shot. Toninho Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. 82 minutes into the match, Toninho Madureira notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós. Cléber de Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cléber de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Madureira in the 86th minute. Édouard Deloge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber de Queirós having to interfere. BOTAFOGO were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Velez do Jockey FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kauan Melo took the corner. At last the ball reached Jaanek Oese at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Velez do Jockey FC. 0-12. When the match was over BOTAFOGO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Velez do Jockey FC throughout the match.
