RIO CLUBE REGATAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikki Doro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Kjell Vassenius sped through Caarapo SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidnei de Souza. With a little luck, RIO CLUBE REGATAS's André Magalhães got control of the ball when Videl Romani tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Videl Romani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Sidnei de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Caarapo SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
