After some careless play in the Rockets defense, Kléber Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geraldo Queiroz. The Rockets fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geraldo Queiroz should have stopped the shot. The Cambridge Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 29 minutes into the match, Jailson Loyola notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz. In the 36th minute, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geraldo Queiroz. Geraldo Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Kléber Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Geraldo Queiroz made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geraldo Queiroz. Geraldo Queiroz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. That made the score 7-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Madureira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Kléber Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Madureira in the 67th minute of the match. Sérgio Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Garcia hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Geraldo Queiroz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cambridge Esporte Clube's Elivélton Aparecido shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee ended the match the Cambridge Esporte Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
