The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Akashicos booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Scoca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Dario Scoca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josué Gonçalves. Akashicos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Scoca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dario Scoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Josué Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Edu Duarte put in a rough tackle. If Ronaldo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Scoca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué Gonçalves having to make a save. When Dario Scoca came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Scoca couldn't finish the play. Dario Scoca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 29th minute, André Luiz Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Dario Scoca could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 4-0 into the left cross. Dario Scoca did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Josué Gonçalves 36 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Olympique Deleon's Dario Scoca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Gonçalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Samuel Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Olympique Deleon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luiz Mandrak to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Dario Scoca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akashicos's Josué Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Scoca in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Gonçalves saved Akashicos from getting behind. Dario Scoca scored 7-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josué Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Akashicos defense, Ronaldo Nazario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josué Gonçalves. The Akashicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josué Gonçalves should have stopped the shot. Samuel Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Josué Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akashicos's Josué Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Paraense in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Scoca in the 69th minute of play forced Akashicos's goalkeeper Josué Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Samuel Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Scoca during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Dario Scoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Akashicos's zone, Ronaldo Nazario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Gonçalves came out of the goal and Ronaldo Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Scoca in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akashicos's goalkeeper Josué Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Akashicos's Evaristo Barbosa got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of Akashicos booed when Olympique Deleon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc-Joel Kröger didn't get a good kick on the ball.
