Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Barros started the match with the kick off. Tadeu Cosme scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cido Pombal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the game, Ulisses Antunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cido Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Flávio Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Green Squad FC's Gilvan Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Soeiro in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Squad FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delfim Tinoco was slow to take the kick. During this time Trocary's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Conrado Pernambucano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Flávio Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gilvan Sanches made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Tadeu Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Antunes in the 32nd minute of play forced Trocary's goalkeeper Cido Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trocary's Cido Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Antunes in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Cosme in the 34th minute of play forced Trocary's goalkeeper Cido Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Lucas Silva got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Tadeu Cosme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Cido Pombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Renato Messias hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Trocary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Garcia to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Maia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cido Pombal. Gonçalo Maia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. In the 70th minute Tadeu Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Teles's late challenge caught a Green Squad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Teles helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Trocary getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Joel Teles hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tadeu Cosme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cido Pombal. That made the score 1-10 in the 79 minute of play. Ulisses Antunes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Cido Pombal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Silvinho Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido Pombal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeu Cosme's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Trocary's Cido Pombal got control of the ball when Ulisses Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Green Squad FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trocary.
